Why is the name of the subscription changing?

We’re launching new subscription plans soon so we’ve made some changes to some of the original KOHO accounts, including a name change. KOHO Extra was formerly known as Premium.

What are the features of KOHO Extra?

A majority of the features you loved in the Premium plan will remain the same 🚀

  • 2% cash back on groceries, bills & services, eating & drinking, and 0.5% cash back on all purchases

  • Earn 2% interest on your entire balance (once you opt in!)

  • Credit Building for $7/month

Is the price changing for KOHO Extra?

No, the price of the subscription plan will remain the same. You will continue to be charged the same amount for your subscription as before.

KOHO Extra costs $9/month or $84/annually.

I used to be on Premium, how has my subscription changed?

With the update to KOHO Extra, your 2% cash back on Transportation will be replaced by 2% cash back on Bills & Services 💰

You will also have a new discounted rate for Credit Building at $7/month 🚀

As well, you should notice that you earn even more Interest now at 2% 🤑

Will my plan be automatically updated to KOHO Extra?

Yes, if you have an active Premium subscription, it will automatically be upgraded to KOHO Extra in the near future.

We will be switching accounts to KOHO Extra from March 6th onwards. You will be notified as soon as the change happens.

Can I use my existing KOHO card to get the new benefits?

Yes, you can continue to use KOHO with your current card and reap all the benefits of a KOHO Extra subscription!

Will my account details and existing cards change?

Our team made the change as seamless as possible! Your card number, balance, e-Transfer load information, and account history will all stay the same 👍

How do I sign up?

If you're already a KOHO user, all you have to do is tap the profile icon > Manage Plan.

*Just a heads up, KOHO Extra is only available for Personal Accounts. In order to enjoy these benefits, be sure you're using your Personal card!*
