How do I install and activate my eSIM?

After purchasing your eSIM, you will be prompted to Install the eSIM.

If you navigate away from this page, you can always trigger installation again by clicking on the eSIM > follow the prompt to Install the eSIM.

Your plan will either activate as soon as you install your eSIM or activate once you connect to any of the supported networks in the destination country. Go to your eSIM > Details > Activation Policy to find out when your plan will activate after installation.


For iOS - Install Now button:


1. Make sure you have an active internet connection first. Click Install Now
2. Click Allow on the Activate New eSIM pop up
3. Click Continue on until the Cellular Setup is complete
4. Create a custom label to easily identify your new eSIM
5. Keep “Primary” as the default line for everything except for Cellular Data. Your new eSIM should be the default line for Cellular Data.
6. On the Cellular Data settings page, click on your new eSIM. Enable “Turn On This Line.” Make sure “Data Roaming” is turned ON. Double check if Network Selection is set to the supported networks listed in the Details tooltip on your purchased eSIM page.
7. Click on “Cellular Data” and make sure your new eSIM is selected.


For iOS - QR Code:


1. Open Settings and select Cellular or Mobile
2. Select ‘Add eSIM’ under SIMs
3. Click ‘Use QR Code’
4. Scan the QR code and follow the instructions
5. Click Continue on until the Cellular Setup is complete
6. Create a custom label to easily identify your new eSIM
7. Keep “Primary” as the default line for everything except for Cellular Data. Your new eSIM should be the default line for Cellular Data.
8. On the Cellular Data settings page, click on your new eSIM. Enable “Turn On This Line.” Make sure “Data Roaming” is turned ON. Double check if Network Selection is set to the supported networks listed in the Details tooltip on your purchased eSIM page.
9. Click on “Cellular Data” and make sure your new eSIM is selected.

For Android - QR Code:


1. Make sure you have an active internet connection first. Share the QR code with another device so you can scan it later.
2. Go to your phone Settings > Network & Internet. Click Add or + next to Mobile Network
3. Click Next on the Download your eSIM page
4. Scan the provided QR code and confirm to activate.
5. Go back to the Install eSIM/Access Data screen.
6. Turn on eSIM under Mobile Network. Enable Mobile Data and Data Roaming.
7. Go to Network & Internet and tap on the Mobile network to set the supported networks listed in the Details tooltip on your purchased eSIM page
