Before we can complete your account, we need to verify your identity. This will let us build a secure profile + protect you from fraud. 

Your identity may be verified automatically if you have an adequate credit file where the name, address, and date of birth match what you used to sign up for KOHO.

To verify your identity with Selfie you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID and a working camera on your mobile device.

With Selfie, we can accept the following Canadian or foreign IDs:

  1. Passport

  2. Driver's Licence

  3. National Identity Card, including provincial Photo ID cards.

  4. Residence Permit Card

Our Selfie option does not accept citizenship cards, health cards, or Indian Status cards at this time. If you wish to submit any of these ID cards (excluding health cards) for identity verification please upload those here. Make sure you include a photo of both the front and back in your submission.

If we can't verify you automatically, we'll need to manually review your account. We'll need 2 documents from you. Please choose 2 options, from 2 different categories.

*P.S. For images of your photo ID, please send the front and back
