When you sign up for a paid plan (Essential, Extra, or Everything), you can enrol for Travel Insurance. Just open the KOHO app, head to the Discover tab, and choose Travel Insurance 👍


What can Travel Insurance cover?

With Travel Insurance, you may have access to the following coverages:

  • Emergency Medical Coverage

  • Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption

  • Lost Baggage Coverage

  • Rental Car Coverage

How can I pay for Travel Insurance?

To earn cash back with your KOHO card, ensure you have your card details ready and your account loaded, so you can easily enter the card information on the travel insurance payment page.

I have a question about my Travel Insurance, who do I contact?

The easiest way to get information about your Travel Insurance is by referring to the policy documents for your coverage that you receive by email after purchase.

How do I access my policy #?

You can access your policy number within the confirmation email after purchasing your policy.

As well, you can view your policy # in the KOHO mobile app:

  1. Open the KOHO app

  2. Go to the Discover tab, then select Travel Insurance

  3. Scroll down to the Policy details section to find your policy # and the start and end date.

Kindly note that if you have recently updated your policy, you should refer to the email from TuGo Insurance for the most recent information about your policy.


Where can I see my Travel Insurance Policy Certificate?

After you sign up for travel insurance, you will receive a confirmation email with your policy and insurance certificate.
