How do I make a Travel Insurance claim?

Claims need to be submitted through the insurance administrator. For claims inquiries or to make a claim, contact TuGo Insurance by calling 1-800-663-0399 or by emailing [email protected]. You can also find more information on the TuGo Claim FAQ page.

You can always find this information by following the steps below:

  1. Open the KOHO app

  2. Go to the Discover tab, then select Travel Insurance

  3. With an active policy, you can initiate a claim by selecting “Make claim”

Note: KOHO cannot assist with claims-related questions as KOHO does not manage or assess claims. This is the sole ownership of the administrator of the insurance product. You should contact the insurance provider directly.


Is there a waiting period for my Travel Insurance before I can submit a claim?

There are no waiting periods for your Travel Insurance. However, a waiting period may apply in the case of a change to the trip.


Is there a deductible that I have to pay when I make a claim for my Travel Insurance?

A deductible may apply based on the coverage you purchase.
