Troubleshooting: Why Didn’t I Get My KOHO Referral Reward?

Sometimes referral rewards don’t appear because one of the program requirements wasn’t met. Here are the most common reasons:

1. The Referral Link Wasn’t Used

Your friend or family member must sign up using your unique referral link.

  • If they signed up without it (for example, by downloading the KOHO app directly), the system won’t connect their account to yours, and no reward will be issued.

Fix: Make sure your referral always uses your link from the start.

2. The Criteria Wasn’t Met

To qualify, your referral must:

  • Verify their account (ID check complete).

  • Complete one action within 30 days of signing up:

    • Make a purchase of at least $20, or

    • Make a single transaction deposit of at least $50 into their KOHO account (KOHO-to-KOHO transfers are not eligible).

If they spend less than $20 in one purchase or deposit less than $50 in a single transaction, the reward won’t trigger.

3. The 30-Day Offer Window Expired

The required action must be completed within 30 days of the referral’s sign-up date.

  • Even if the criteria are met after this period, rewards cannot be issued.

Fix: Encourage referrals to complete the steps right away after signing up.
