If a friend or family member wants to send money to your KOHO account, they will need to be KOHO users themselves. If they have a KOHO account, they can instantly send you money through the app under the Move Money tab > Send Money > Add a Recipient icon in the top right-hand corner
However, e-Transfers sent to your load your KOHO account must match the name on your account, and we can't accept transfers from anyone other than you (we don't accept third party e-Transfers).
Direct deposits must also match the name on your KOHO account to successfully deposit.
If you've married recently or otherwise needed to change your name, we will need a photo of a driver's licence or utility bill so that your account info is up to date. You can reach out to us through in-app chat to let us know.
