Some services, such as spas, salons, beauty merchants, and food delivery will put a pre-authorization amount of 15-20% higher than the total charge to ensure there are enough funds for tip/gratuities, even if a tip has already been added to the total charge. This should settle at the correct amount within 5 business days. We'll keep an eye on this to make sure it settles at the correct amount. Keep your receipt in a safe place in case it doesn't, at which point you would go to the merchant for a reimbursement.
