RoundUps help you save a little every time you spend. When you make a purchase with your KOHO card, we round the total up to the nearest $1, $2, $5, or $10. You choose the amount. The extra change goes into your RoundUps savings.
💡 Example: If your purchase is $2.25 and you’ve picked $5 as your RoundUps amount, we’ll save $2.75 for you.
These RoundUps come from your available Spendable balance. They cannot be funded by your Cover balance, which is a cash advance.
You can see how much you’ve saved, change your RoundUps amount, or cash out by going to Discover > Save > RoundUps in the app.
A few things to keep in mind
When you cash out your RoundUps, your Spendable will increase, but you won't see a record of the cash out in your activity feed. This is expected behaviour as this is considered "internal money movement”.
The different sections you see in the app (like Spendable, RoundUps, and Goals) are just visual. Your KOHO balance is still one account. If you make a $17 purchase and have $10 in Spendable, $5 in RoundUps, and $2 in a Goal, KOHO will use all of them to cover the cost.
Your RoundUps savings will appear after the original purchase settles. Depending on the store, this usually takes 3 to 5 days.
