# What are RoundUps?

When you make a purchase with your KOHO card, we round the total up to the nearest $1, $2, $5, or $10 — you choose the amount. The difference moves into your RoundUps savings.

💡 **Example:** If your purchase is $2.25 and you’ve chosen $5, we’ll move $2.75 into your RoundUps. 

That money comes from your available **Spendable** balance. RoundUps can’t be funded by Cover.

You can view your balance, change your RoundUps settings, or cash out anytime in the app: **Discover > Save > RoundUps**

## **A few things to keep in mind**

*   RoundUps move money from Spendable into your Savings balance.
*   Money in RoundUps can’t be used for purchases unless you cash it out to Spendable first.
*   If there isn’t enough in Spendable to cover a purchase, the transaction will be declined — even if you have money in RoundUps.
*   Your RoundUps savings appear after the original purchase settles. This usually takes 3–5 days, depending on the merchant.
*   When you cash out RoundUps, you’ll see the transfer in your transaction history.

RoundUps are part of your Savings balance. They’re set aside on purpose.

## **How to turn on RoundUps**

In the KOHO app, go to:

**Discover > Save > RoundUps > Edit > Turn RoundUps On**

Choose the amount you want to round up to, and you’re good to go.

## **How to cash out your savings**

You can cash out your RoundUps anytime. Go to:

**Discover > Save > RoundUps > Cash out**

Your RoundUps will be moved to your **Spendable balance**.

To see a record of your cash outs, tap:

**Discover > Save > RoundUps > Show history**
