⚠️ **Wire transfers are currently only available to Everything plan members. Transfers can only be sent to a Canadian bank account under your own legal name.**

Wire transfers let you send money from your KOHO account to another bank account in Canada.

## **Who can use wire transfers?**

**We're rolling out this feature gradually, so it may not be available to everyone on the Everything plan right away. If you don't see it yet, it's on its way.**

Wire transfers are currently available to **Everything** plan members with a personal KOHO account.

This feature is not yet available on other plans or for joint accounts.

If you have an Everything plan and a joint account, you can move the funds to your personal account before sending the wire transfer.

## **What if I’m not eligible to send a wire transfer?**

Wire transfers are not yet available for all KOHO accounts.

If you cannot access the wire transfer feature, you can move the funds to another bank account under your name and send the wire from there. For example, you may be able to send yourself an Interac e-Transfer and deposit it into your other account.

If the transfer is urgent or involves a large amount, contact our support team through the KOHO app or KOHO Web. Our team can review your situation and let you know whether any other options are available.

## **Where can I send a wire transfer?**

You can only send a wire transfer to a Canadian bank account registered under the same legal name as your KOHO account.

You cannot send a wire transfer to another person, including a family member or joint account holder.

The name on the receiving account must exactly match the legal name registered on your KOHO account.

## **Can I receive a wire transfer in my KOHO account?**

No, KOHO accounts cannot currently receive wire transfers.

KOHO accounts do not have the SWIFT code, International Bank Account Number (IBAN), or Bank Identifier Code (BIC) required to receive wire transfers.

If the funds are being sent in Canadian dollars, the sender may be able to send them to your KOHO account through direct deposit instead.

## **What information do I need?**

Before starting your wire transfer, make sure you have:

* The name on the receiving account
*   The receiving bank’s name
* The receiving bank branch address
*   The account number
*   The three-digit institution number
*   The five-digit transit number
* Enough money in your Spendable balance

Wire transfers can only be funded from your Spendable balance.

Your Cover balance cannot be used for a wire transfer. If your money is in Goals or your Vault, move it to your Spendable balance before submitting the transfer.

Carefully confirm the banking details with the receiving bank before submitting your transfer.
