We recommend using a service called "Wise" for sending funds to non-Canadian bank accounts or receiving non-Canadian funds to your KOHO account.
How to set up a debit from your KOHO account to Wise:
We are unable to accept a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) from Wise using your KOHO direct deposit account details.
Instead, you can use your 16-digit KOHO pre-paid card number in order to initiate a payment from your KOHO account to Wise. Simply input your card details to initiate a debit from your KOHO account to Wise.
Just a reminder that the maximum amount you can transact using your KOHO card is $4000 CAD per 24 hours. If your transaction exceeds this amount, it will be rejected.
How to receive a credit to your KOHO account from Wise:
We do accept a pre-authorized credit using your direct deposit account details from Wise to your KOHO account as long as the name on your Wise account matches your KOHO account.* You can find your direct deposit information in the app by clicking $ > Set up direct deposit
We do not accept an Interac e-Transfer from Wise to your KOHO account as a credit method. Please direct any e-Transfers from Wise to your external bank account if it is supported by Wise.
*If the name on your Wise account is different than the name on your KOHO account (i.e. a business account), we, unfortunately, are unable to process it.
